In response to customer requests to finish off key NHS work the veneer layon factory has remained open on a skeleton staff this week. We are also able to despatch orders of flitch veneer as normal and send out samples. Please continue to contact us in the normal way, although with a reduced office staff it might be better to email us rather than to use the phone. Stay safe!
Our customers and colleagues are at the heart of what we do and with the rapidly developing Coronavirus (COVID-19) situation we are taking the responsible measures needed to protect all of us.
In light of recent government communications and advice from the World Health Organisation we have decided to close our offices and manufacturing facility at the end of the day on Friday 27th March 2020 for a period of 2 weeks.
During this time, we will not be available to answer phones or manufacture layons,. It is our intention to keep a skeleton staff in place to process veneer orders and deliveries to try and fulfil a number of critical orders for materials destined for the health sector.
We will continue to answer emails and do what limited work we can from home and we can confirm that all inquiries will be dealt with in the order in which they came in and we will do out best to play catchup.
Due to illness and self-isolation we have no administrative staff in the office this afternoon to answer queries about current orders. Please therefore email email@example.com if you have an urgent question. Hopefully we will have cover in place tomorrow.
If you are looking to request samples you can still do this, just visit www.dfrichards.co.uk and for further updates please visit www.dfichards.co.uk/covid19
We are open and operating as normal. We have good stock levels of all species and we have further stock arriving in the coming days. We welcome visitors to DF Richards but with heightened measures to ensure the safety of our customers, staff and our couriers. We're monitoring the situation closely and will continue to follow official advice from the government, the WHO and the NHS.
